Hello. I stumbled upon your. Show/webpage. Your design lacks imagination and could use a more professional touch. Layout is not user friendly nor easy on the eye. you should look into dropping by the local art school and find out what colors go together. Dreamweaver would serve you well.
Your show. Tim your backdrop does not even hide your background. two tripods with the sheet hung between them would work well. first rule in any broadcast. Do not look at the camera. and perhaps an outline with your talking points will help you keep the conversation a bit more organized rather than having the effect of a bar room chat during a bull fight.
I wish you well and hope you make improvements.

Yes, the color combination may not be the best to some people, but I can't imagine the layout being any simpler. You see the clearly labeled and easy to read tabs on the left or right side, you click on them, you go there. How much easier to use can it possibly be?
As for the show backgrounds, this is a no-budget show, and I only have one tripod and it's needed to hold the camera. For the type of episodes I do in most cases, NOT looking at the camera to speak to the people watching would be more unusual.
If it were an episode involving several people, then it may not be the way to go.
I've thought of changing the colors, but it's been this way for so long.

ArtRocks makes some valid points about the site. You really should pick 3 colors and stick with them. Your "About Tim" link is a purple background with blue text. The color blind cannot read this.
Colors aside, your html is a mess. Your pages do not have a DOC type and you use frames!!! Ugh! Your losing soo much serp. The search engines lower your ranking when you display in frames and your viewers cannot directly link to any of your videos. This is why you have a PR1 ranking in the search engines. Your also being hurt by your page keywords.
"pwned, Jennicam, movies, free, open source, internet star, Lisa Nova, WoW, World of Warcraft, youtube, star, internet celebrity, viral video, obama,"
This is called keyword spamming and it a horrible way of trying to drive serp and traffic. I understand that you wish to keep the site "light" on size for quick loading, but times have changed and so should the site.
Recommendations: Dump this site design altogether. Move all your content to a CMS (Content Management System) such as Joomla.
Pick 3 to 5 colors and stick with them!!!
Remove your keyword spam.
Try to promote your site in appropriate venues. Forum link dropping is not really effective. Create a Myspace page for the site, a fan page on Facebook, create a newsletter that informs members that a new video is out ....
While your show isn't really my kind of thing, it does have a potential to a certain audience. Knowing who your audience is and knowing where they hang out on the internet is key to the promotion of the site/videos. If you can get a dedicated audience of a few thousand, then you can draw advertisers in to the show. You have a ton of content already but you viewership is low.
I have a feeling many people have given you advice in the past about your shows or site. You seem to want to do things your way and I can respect that. If you really want to make this site and show work tho... you need to update with the times and become a bit more aggressive in promoting yourself in the venues where your audience hangs out (myspace, youtube, facebook, bebo, WoW boards).
Good luck.......

Actually, my HTML programming is pretty darn tight. At least, it WAS, back in 2002 when I was writing the code for the pages. At that time, other people in my HTML class hated frames but I had no problem getting them to work right, and I checked my site's output in both Internet Explorer and Netscape to make sure it displayed correctly. I threw in some keywords at the time, but they need to be updated also.
Now you're throwing new terminology at me. Page Ranks? DOC type? Serp?
Back when I made the site, lots of people had dial up, so I kept the code as simple as possible for fast loading. Now, I'm of the opinion that anyone with dial-up needs to quit being so cheap and get some sort of broadband, except for the rare few here and there who do not have broadband available (get a cell phone link, satellite, or something in that case).
I'll look into changing things a bit, I've thought about it but haven't been really motivated to try anything. Now that I tried the page rank search thing for myself and see I'm a 1 out of 10, I'd like to try and get up to a 3 or so!
